Wisconsin Timber Rattlers fans have made their decision. Jake Odorizzi was selected to be immortalized as a bobblehead in an on-line vote that recently ended.
The Quad Cities River Bandits took advantage of walks and errors and two out hits to defeat the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers 6-1 Wednesday night at Time Warner Cable Field. Quad Cities blew open a close game with three runs in the top of the eighth inning.

Jake Odorizzi has been named the Midwest League Pitcher of the Week. The right-handed Brewers prospect was honored with the award today for his performance in a no-hitter at Cedar Rapids on August 24. Two of Odorizzi's teammates have won the Offensive Players of the week in 2010, but Odorizzi is the first Wisconsin player to win the pitcher of the week since Wily Peralta won in late May of 2009
Wisconsin Timber Rattlers fans can start making their plans for 2011. The Midwest League affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers has released its schedule for next season. Opening Night, 2011 is Thursday, April 7 at 6:35pm against the Kane County Cougars.
