June 28 is a Dog day of Summer at Time Warner Cable Field

GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers invite fans to bring their dogs to the Bark in the Park event on Sunday, June 28. The Timber Rattlers will be hosting the Peoria Chiefs in a game that begins at 1:05pm. The Timbers Rattlers and the Fox Valley Humane Association have set aside a section of the stadium just for dogs and their owners in this inaugural canine event at Time Warner Cable Field at Fox Cities Stadium.

Dog owners, along with their "best friends," will have the opportunity to win great prizes compliments of Nutro, and participate in other "dog friendly" activities.

Tickets and information are available by calling the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers at (920)733-4152. Tickets for the event are $5 for humans and $2 for dogs and must be purchased day of game. Proceeds from all dog tickets will benefit the Fox Valley Humane Association.

Fans and their dogs should enter Fox Cities Stadium through the gate located down the left field line. Disabled fans and their dogs will be able to use the Main entrance. Seating will be general admission on the left field grass berm. Doggie pools, water dishes and waste bags will be available throughout the game. Day-of-game sales for Bark at the Park will take place at the left field gate beginning at 11:00am and concluding in the second inning of the game.

Dog owners must sign a waiver stating that required vaccinations from a licensed veterinarian are current before tickets may be purchased. This waiver holds the owner liable in the event of an incident. It is recommended that fans contact their veterinarian regarding other vaccinations that may suit their dog's needs.

Required Vaccinations: *Rabies - given annually, but sometimes can be a 3 year.

*DHLP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Para Influenza) - all given annually, sometimes referred to as the Combo Vaccination, especially when it includes Parvo.

*Parvo - given annually, many times this is included in the DHLP and is indicated as DHLPP.

Bordatella - given either every six months or annually. Sometimes referred to as: Kennel Cough or Tracheobronchities.

The Timber Rattlers reserve the right to deny any dog or human entrance to Time Warner Cable Field at Fox Cities Stadium for the Bark in the Park event for any reason they may see fit. For more information on the event, please call the Timber Rattlers at (920) 733-4152.
