Over a quarter million reasons to say thank you

GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers have cracked the 250,000 mark in attendance for the first time in the franchise's 15 seasons. On Friday night, the Timber Rattlers drew 5,452 fans to their final home game of the season. That gave the Midwest League affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers a final attendance for the 2009 season of 253,240.

The Timber Rattlers sold out the stadium eighteen times in 2009, including 11 crowds of over 5,000. The Opening Night crowd of 5,487 on April 9 marked the first time the Timber Rattlers sold out their first home game of the season. The largest home crowd at Time Warner Cable Field at Fox Cities Stadium for the season was 5,556 on August 4 for the appearance of Paul Molitor.

The schedule for the 2010 season has been released and fans may start purchasing seven and ten game packages. Full and half-season packages are also available by contacting the Timber Rattlers Ticket office at 1-800-WI-TIMBER or (920) 733-4152, in person at the Time Warner Cable Field Box Office, or over the internet at www.timberrattlers.com.
