CHUTE, WI - The Fox Cities Foxes joined the Midwest League in 1962.
The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, the direct descendant of the Foxes, will
celebrate 50 years in the Midwest League with a special "All Fan" giveaway
on Opening Night, 2012. Game time is
6:35pm.
The Rattlers and Time Warner Cable present five different bobbleheads wearing
jerseys of past Appleton professional baseball teams as part of an "All Fan"
bobblehead giveaway on April 5, 2012. Fans
in attendance that night will take home a piece of Appleton baseball history!
Each
bobblehead is decorated with the jersey and cap from one of the following years:

1953 Appleton Papermakers
-
1960 Fox Cities Foxes
-
1983 Appleton Foxes
-
1995 Wisconsin Timber Rattlers (Original home jersey)
-
2011 Wisconsin Timber Rattlers (Updated home jersey)
All
fans attending the game between the Timber Rattlers and the Cedar Rapids Kernels
on Thursday, April 5, 2012 will receive one of the bobbleheads at random.
There will be equal numbers of four models of bobbleheads.
However, only 250 of the 1953 Appleton Papermakers bobbleheads will be
available as part of the giveaway.
Individual tickets for the upcoming season will not go on sale until March, but
fans may secure a free Opening Night ticket and a guaranteed bobblehead from the
series by purchasing a 10-game ticket package now!
Ten game ticket packages for Bang for Your Buck Nights, Fireworks Nights,
Weekends, and Weekdays, are all available from the Time Warner Cable Field Box
Office.
The box office is located at Time Warner Cable Field and is open Monday through
Friday from 9am to 5pm. Fans may
order ticket packages in person, over the phone at (920) 733-4152 or (800)
WI-TIMBER, or online at timberrattlers.com.
