Jeff Isom - Manager

Jeff Isom
begins his third season in the Brewers
organization. He led the West Virginia Power to a 77-62 record and the
South Atlantic League Championship Series in 2008. In
2007, Isom managed the Helena Brewers to a 48-28
mark while capturing the first-half title in
the Pioneer League's Northern Division.
Prior to joining the Brewers, Isom
spent seven years managing in the independent leagues.
In 2006, he guided the Traverse City Beach Bums to
a 57-39 record. He also managed the Joliet Jackhammers
(2004-05), the Washington Wild Things (2002-03) and
the Canton Crocodiles (2000-01). Isom spent
three years in the minors as a pitcher in the San
Diego Padres and Pittsburgh Pirates organizations from
1993-95. He was selected by the Pirates in the 13th round
of the 1993 Draft from Purdue University, where he earned
a bachelor's degree in education. During his playing career,
he went 10-12 with a 3.45 ERA. Jeff resides in West
Lafayette, Indiana with his wife, Lisa, and two
children.
Matt Erickson -
Hitting Coach

Matt Erickson, a native of Appleton, enters his
first coaching position with the Milwaukee Brewers as the hitting coach for the
Timber Rattlers. An infielder, Erickson played 11 professional seasons
(1997-2007) and made his Major League debut with the Brewers in 2004.
Chris Hook - Pitching Coach

Chris Hook
enters his second year in the Brewers organization after spending 2008 with the
Huntsville Stars. Prior to joining Huntsville's
coaching staff, Hook was the pitching
coach for the Florence Freedom of the independent
Frontier League from 2003-07. He
also spent three seasons as the pitching coach for
Northern Kentucky University from 2000-02.
Prior to coaching, Hook pitched 11 seasons, including
two years in the majors with San Francisco from 1995-96.
He owns a 5-2 mark in 55 career Major League games.
Originally signed as non-drafted free agent by Cincinnati
in 1989, Hook went 57-47 with a 4.24 ERA in 247
career appearances in the minor leagues.
Since 2001, Hook has owned and operated a baseball training
center based in Florence, Kentucky, where he resides
along with his wife, Toni, and their two sons, Christian
and Brennan.
Aaron Hoback - Trainer
Aaron Hoback enters his third season in the
Brewers organization after two seasons with the Helena Brewers. Hoback graduated
from Western Illinois University in ?05 with a degree in physical education. He
has served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for the Wichita State
baseball team, as well as an intern athletic trainer with the St. Louis
Cardinals and the St. Louis Rams.
Jake Marx - Strength & Conditioning
Jake Marx, a Menasha native, graduated from the
University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and enters his fourth season with the Brewers.
